About LSNA

The Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA) was established in 1904. It was then, and is now, the organization that advocates for all of nursing regardless of specialty or practice setting. LSNA’s mission is “To support and serve all levels of registered nurses in Louisiana through ethical leadership, professional growth, and effective advocacy to promote excellence in health care.” In accordance with this Mission, LSNA seeks to provide an avenue for nurses, working together, to actively address the factors which impact health care and their profession of nursing.
