Poster Presentations

April 8-9, 2019

This is a call for abstracts for the poster session scheduled for Monday, April 9th, 2019 from 8am to 9am (setup 7:30am).

Presentations relating to formal research/dissertations or less analytical content are welcomed. Topics related to politics and nursing, advocacy, the changing profession of nursing, changing workplace, issues impacting healthcare and nursing and unique perspectives of nursing within healthcare are especially sought. However, abstracts on a variety of topics will be accepted. Examples of subject matter include, but not limited to:

  • Clinicalpractice

  • Workplace/workforceneeds

  • Leadershipinitiatives

  • Nursing deliverysystems

  • Nursing of Louisianapopulations

  • Alternative methods ofhealing

  • Nursingeducation

  • Disasterpreparedness.

Abstracts describing the poster content should be approximately 250 words and include problem/purpose, process overview/methodology, findings, discussion and implications for nursing/healthcare.
