LOUISANA NURSES FOUNDATION CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE IN NURSING AT 18TH ANNUAL NIGHTINGALE AWARDS AND GALA

BATON ROUGE – On March 16, 2019, Louisiana Nurses Foundation was the host of more than 550 nurses and supporters from all over Louisiana at its 18th annual Nightingale Awards and Gala.  The annual event recognizes the achievements of nurses, hospitals, and nursing programs across the state in a variety of categories. This year, the Louisiana Nurses Foundation received the highest number of nomination applications to date for both individual and institutional award categories.

 

“It was a special evening to honor Louisiana’s most trusted health care professionals, our Registered Nurses,” said Dr. John Wyble, Executive Director of the Louisiana State Nurses Association and Louisiana Nurses Foundation. “It was an historic event, led by our three Champion Sponsors, LCMC Health System; Ochsner Health System; and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.”
